Todd Peterson
Born in Washington, D.C., Mr. Peterson has spent most of his life in Georgia. Upon graduating from Valdosta High School, he attended the U.S. Naval Academy and lettered in football for Navy in 1988 and 1989. He was named the East Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his performance versus Delaware in 1988. In 1990 Peterson transferred to the University of Georgia where he graduated with a BBA in Banking and Finance in 1993. His senior season he was named UGA’s first GTE Academic All- America in over a decade and he led the SEC in field goal percentage that season. Concurrent to his acceptance to the University of Georgia’s Law School in 1993, Peterson was drafted by the New York Giants. That same year he was initiated into Sphinx. After being one of 34 players in history to score over 1000 points in the NFL, Peterson’s 13 season kicking career ended in 2006. Along the way, Peterson and his wife, Susan, have used their influence to invest in and improve the lives of others. In every community in which they lived the Petersons invested in local charities and businesses. In 2003, they capitalized a growing company, Cabell’s Designs LLC which has licensing agreements with over 60 major universities and the NFL. Besides speaking regularly, Peterson serves in a strategic initiative within the Maclellan Foundation to catalyze generosity and strategic Kingdom investment. He also sits on the Board of Directors for Pro Athletes Outreach and The Wycliffe Seed Company. He is a member of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Petersons make their home in North Atlanta and have two children.

Bruce Halsted
Bruce left a Wall Street career as a Network Consultant in 1990 to join the staff of Executive Ministries of Campus Crusade for Christ. Shortly after joining Crusade, he was asked to help lead a newly formed effort in New York City, Priority Associates, which focused on reaching emerging leaders and those in the marketplace. To help give national leadership to Priority Associates, Bruce moved his family to Orlando in August of 2001. Not long after, he joined the Crusade US Director’s office with the goal of establishing an effective global cities ministry and developing new methods for empowering leadership movements. In 2005, Bruce became the Executive Director of The Gabriel Foundation, a relatively new family foundation with a high value on partnership and the leveraging of resources towards strategic Kingdom efforts. To this end, most of Bruce’s current focus is on the Maclellan Foundation’s “Giving Wisely” initiative, designed to serve families with their strategic giving needs and questions. Bruce served as an Elder at Redeemer church in NYC and is currently involved in a church plant in his downtown Orlando community. His master’s education focus is in organizational and transformational leadership. Cindy, his wife, currently serves as a vice-president for Generous Giving and focuses on launching the women’s side of the movement. They have three children, Christina, Anna, and Pierce.
